Knebworth Parish Centre was
designed to complement the Lutyens architecture
of St Martin’s Church alongside which it
stands. It was dedicated in July 1993 by the then
Bishop of St Albans, The Right Reverend John Taylor.
It is used for a wide variety of activities, serving
the whole community as well as the church. The hall will comfortably accommodate up to 90
people, there is a separate reception lobby and
two other smaller meeting rooms (for up to 30 people),
one upstairs and one on the ground floor. There is a very well equipped kitchen which has
often been used to prepare food for large numbers
of people. Naturally there are toilet facilities
for both able and disabled users. The Parish Centre is extremely popular for children’s
parties, committee meetings, horticultural shows,
jumble sales etc. It has also been used for wedding
receptions and a wide variety of other functions. Enquiries about availability and our reasonable
rates are welcome. Please contact Anne Onyett on
