Care for the Family
St. Martin’s Christian community belongs to an organisation called Care for the Family. This was formed 16 years ago, in Cardiff, by Rob & Dianne Parsons and Jonathan Booth with the aim of ‘promoting strong family life and to help those hurting because of family breakdown’. Since then they have added many ways of being available and providing sound information for the wider good of families.
Local representatives assist to bring this organisation to their own communities and we have two people in Knebworth to assist you if you require any information.
Many people remember the entertainer, Roy Castle, who was a strong supporter of this organisation. His wife, Fiona, is part of the team travelling the country to take part in seminars, carrying on this good work.
Together with the Mothers’ Union in Knebworth there is a tremendous amount of practical advice and support available for all members of the family. It is not necessary to be a churchgoer to access this help in the many different situations encountered in family life.
