In order to carry this out there are five objects:</FONT></div> <bR> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f099330000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">To uphold Christ’s teaching on the nature of marriage and to promote its wider understanding.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f099330000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">To encourage parents to bring up their children in the faith and life of the Church</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f099330000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">To maintain a world-wide fellowship of Christians, united in prayer, worship and service</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f099330000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">To promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and the protection of children.</div> <div> <IMG BORDER="0" SRC="Symb075c00b700f099330000.png" HEIGHT="16" WIDTH="24" ALIGN="bottom" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">To help those whose family life has met with adversity. </div> <bR> <div> The Knebworth branch of the Mothers' Union meets on the first Thursday of every month at 2.00 pm in St Martin's Parish Centre. Guests and new members are always welcome.  </div> <bR> <div> Mothers' Union Corporate Communion is on the last Thursday of every month, 10.00 am in St Martin's Church. Also on these Thursdays Mothers' Union members run a Coffee-Drop-In in St Martin's Parish Centre from 10.30 am where there is a warm welcome to anyone who would like to drop in for a hot drink and a friendly chat. New members are always welcome. </div> <bR> <div> We are also involved in the weekly Parents/Carers and Toddlers' play-group 'Playaways' every Friday during school terms, 10.00 - 11.30 am in Knebworth Parish Centre.
